Helen Leung

Helen joined the ILRC in 2016 and is passionate about social justice and making knowledge more accessible. She is responsible for planning and carrying out the webinars and seminars we make available to the public.

Before coming to the ILRC, Helen served as the Operations Manager at San Diego LGBT Pride, where she handled everything from accounting to IT for a civic event that draws hundreds of thousands of people every year. She has also spent time volunteering as a California State Certified Sexual Assault Counselor. Helen holds dual degrees in Ethnic Studies and History from UC San Diego. She is conversant in Cantonese.
