Michelle Lee

Michelle Lee joined the ILRC in January 2024 as the Director of Institutional Giving. In this role, she leads the organization’s fundraising efforts from foundations and other institutional donors. Michelle brings 20+ years of grants and institutional giving experience at progressive nonprofit organizations in Washington, DC and non-governmental organizations based in Sub-Saharan Africa. Before joining the ILRC, she served as the Development Director at organizations working in reproductive health, poverty alleviation, and accountable economic development.
Michelle earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia and master's degree in public administration from George Mason University. She is based in Washington, DC.
