Lilli Sher
Lilli joined the ILRC in October 2024 as a Development Associate. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Lilli lived in Chicago for 4 years before moving to the Bay Area. Lilli ran art-based and social justice-oriented programs for high school and college students in her previous professional role. She also helped lay the groundwork for mutual aid to be an enduring value of the burgeoning Jewish Museum of Chicago.
Lilli’s grandmother emigrated to the U.S. via Angel Island, making it especially meaningful to join the ILRC in San Francisco. She hopes to help ensure that the ILRC’s critical work of protecting the rights of immigrants is widely supported, both materially and societally.
Outside of work, Lilli enjoys exploring the beautiful nature of the Bay Area, reading, crafting, and hanging out with her partner and their cat, Rainy. Lilli holds a B.S. in Journalism from Ohio University’s Honors Tutorial College.
